Take The A Train
This was hands down my favorite look I did with Ray. I was meeting another photographer in the village, so instead of shooting this last look all at once, we had fun on the train the whole way down Manhattan.
I made a last minute stop at Zara and found this little teal midi dress, which honestly has proven to work for all seasons. Wear a sweater over it in winter, wear it in the summer as is (it's loosely knitted, so it can almost work as a bathing suit coverup), and in the Fall with boots and a tailored jacket.
A pointed toe bootie/heel is pretty much standard in any petite wardrobe, but I especially think this is important with midi skits and dresses. Because they hit mid calf – or lower when you're our height, let's be honest – it can create the illusion our legs are even shorter than they are. Midi's tend to be hit or miss for me, but this one worked, especially with the pointed western booties.
