Get Inspired

On Wednesday night, I got to chat with a dear friend of mine about a new job that was just offered to her. Taking it means she would move to Africa, take a significant blow to her monthly income, and start all over with a brand new community, not just in a new city, or a new country, but a new continent. Talk about transition struggles. 

She hasn't given her answer yet, but I was so encouraged during our conversation, because she is genuinely inspired and terrified at the same time, and really open about it. Sometimes our dreams don't look the way we pictured them, or come to light when we thought they would. They key is to lean into it- into the fear, into the opportunity, and be careful to not hold onto the life we've designed in our minds too tightly. To face every opportunity with open hands and a teachable heart.
